Sunday 1st September, on the island where the Manifesto inspiring the European Unity was written, open the 38th Seminar of Venetotene , which has obtained the patronage of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament. Guests of the event Sandro Gozi, President of the European Federalists, Laura Garavini, President of the Federalist Intergroup at the Senate of the Republic, Sylvie Goulard, Vice Governor of the Bank of France, Mario Monti, President of the Bocconi University and Senator for life, Romano Prodi, former President of the European Commission, the European parliamentarians Brando Benifei, Salvatore De Meo, Domènec Devesa. RAI journalist Eva Giovannini will receive the journalist prize “Altiero Spinelli”, which awarded the Medal of the President of the Italian Republic.

Ventotene is an Island in the sea in frot of Rome / Naples. Ferries depars regularly from Formia (Train station Formia on the line from Rome to Naples)
Tickets can be purchased directly at the Port of Formia (LT). Departure by ferry and hydrofoil from the Port of Formia (company Laziomar):
