The 42nd edition of the Ventotene International Federalist Seminar will begin on August 30, 2026. The Altiero Spinelli Institute of Federalist Studies, under the patronage of the Municipality of Ventotene, is organizing the annual seminar until September 4, in collaboration with the Union of European Federalists (UEF) and the Young European Federalists (JEF).
The eight training sessions will be led by 30 young people from around the world, thanks in part to the numerous scholarships from the World Federalist Movement and the direct commitment of the Spinelli Institute.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The International Seminar will be held at the Historical Archives of Ventotene and Santo Stefano, courtesy of the Municipality of Ventotene. In compliance with current safety regulations and to ensure adequate preparation for the seminar, access to the Archives is limited to a maximum of 30 people and is reserved exclusively for seminarians receiving scholarships from the Spinelli Institute.

Presentation of the audiovisual project “Europa, una barca” by Clemente Pernarella, with director Melania Maccaferri

Meeting with Gianluca Passarelli, author of “La Roccia di Ventotene” (Einaudi), moderated by Marina Lalovic
