The 41st edition of the Ventotene International Federalist Seminar will begin on August 31, 2025.

On 22 and 23 May, the Network of Political Houses and Foundations of the Great Europeans of the European Parliament, of which the Altiero Spinelli Institute for Federalist Studies is a member, will meet.
The third edition of the Ventotene-Houjarray School on European Memories has been inaugurated. Promoted by the Jean Monnet House and the European Observatory on Memories, this three-day activity is co-organized in collaboration with the Altiero Spinelli Institute for Federalist Studies and JEF Europe.
A total of 25 young participants will take part in the third edition of the Spring Edition of the Ventotene-Houjarray School on European Memories. The event will take place from 5th to 8th May 2025 at the Jean Monnet House in Bazoches-sur-Guyonne, France.
The Altiero Spinelli Institute for Federalist Studies is co-organizer, together with Jean Monnet House, the European Observatory on Memories (EUROM) and in collaboration with the Young European Federalists (JEF Europe) of the third edition of the “Ventotene-Houjarray School on Memories”.
The 2025 edition of the “Ventotene-Houjarray School on Memories” is focused on the “European unity and the quest for peace”
The Seminar will be organized at the Jean Monnet House in Bazoches-sur-Guyonne, 40 km from Paris (France).
The Seminar will welcome 25 young participants from all over Europe.
Through the organisation of conferences, workshops, debates and practical activities, participants will become familiar with the latest research on memory studies and will be able to contribute to raising awareness of Europe’s past as a key to making informed choices for the present and future.
Applicants for this call must have participated in the 43rd edition of the Ventotene National Seminar in 2024 and must be between 18 and 35 on May 5th, 2024.
The Spinelli Institute will select up to a maximum of 7 young participants coming from Italy and will reimburse a total of 150 euros per selected participants for travel expenses.
All participants receive, without any cost, full board and accommodation from the lunch of May, 5th to the lunch of May, 8th (included).
Participants shall organize their trip to Paris considering that Noon Bus departure from Place e la Madeleine to the Jean Monnet House.
The deadline to apply to the “Ventotene-Houjarray School on Memories 2024” is March 25, 2025 at 12.00 p.m. (CET).
